My old computer is gone, and I have a loaner with none of my stuff on it (of course!) at the moment. Things happened a little late (Since my computer didn't come in when it was suppose to.)and a little faster than expected since my old computer finally went belly up yesterday. (Here's hoping they can rescue all my information from the old beast!)
I won't be back until everything has been transfered and my Mac Mini installed. Hopefully that will be done by the weekend! See you all when it's done!
I bet it will feel so good to have a computer that works, and keeps on working!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything works out soon; it can be pretty frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI have my new computer and it is fabulous!! Will add more later as I have a great deal to learn, but I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteAfter an all nighter setting everything up I was exhausted, and then there was a party today for which I had to make the birthday cake! My granddaughter Hannah is seven today.
ReplyDeleteStill have a few things to do. Write my grocery list for the iPod Touch and create my calendar so I don't forget things this week, but it's almost done. Sure do love the MAC and the MAC mouse too!
your new digital sounds good but yikes, the old one, that's like a house fire.
ReplyDeleteThe feeling of reliefe...suddenly something works! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your getting an iMac! Its no fun using a loaner with none of your stuff. But at least you have Internet access!
ReplyDeleteHey Pearl,
ReplyDeleteI'm doing pretty good with the new machine though it does have a learning curve since I haven't had a Mac in years. Fun, though!
Bax,
It sure is a relief! I'm working at doing catch-up which is a lot more daunting than I thought it would be!
Stephen,
I am so glad to have my own machine and not have to rely on a borrowed PC! I'm learning what is new, and of course what's different from a PC. A Mac's a better choice for me, but there is still a learning period with any new computer!
We got a new hand-me-down computer ... tomorrow hopefully we get it to work!
ReplyDeleteRobert,
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of computer did you get? A PC? Hope it works great!
